Phone call

Letters to Kate 3:
3. Phone Call

Hey Kate, it's been a while hasn't it? I'm sorry I didn't write more, but then I suppose we both had things to be doing. It was nice to hear from you the other day, even though the signal was pretty bad. It always is here, small town too many phones and no signal tower.

Anyway, I'm happy to hear you're well and things are looking up, congrats on the new job! I got a new job too, I'm going to travel the world! I always told you I'd make music my life and here I am doing it, at last. You should come along with me sometime, I'll show you some great places where the people are all so amazing, or I could show you the places where there's no-one. Like this big forest I found, empty except for nature, K, it's so peaceful.

You remember you asked if I'd found anyone before the phone cut out? I figured I'd rather be honest with you, I have. Her names A. Real pretty, got those lovely warm eyes I always fall for. I won't lie to you K, she reminds me a lot of you, but she's got her own individual attitude and style. I really think you'd like her. Maybe you could come down and visit us sometime?

I hope this finds you well, and that I get to hear from you again soon,
M
